Editor’s note: This is a recurring post, regularly updated with new information and offers.

If you are a business owner looking to earn flat cash back on your purchases, one of Chase’s most popular business cards is offering an elevated bonus — but not for much longer.

The Ink Business Unlimited® Credit Card has its best-ever offer of $900 bonus cash after spending $6,000 in the first three months of account opening. You’ll need to apply by Nov. 7 to access this bonus.

Apply by Nov. 7: Earn $900 cash back (90,000 Ultimate Rewards points) with this best-ever offer on the Ink Business Unlimited credit card.

However, the Ink Business Unlimited is not the only card in the Chase Ink Business family. There’s also the Ink Business Cash® Credit Card, another great cash-back product with no annual fee. If you want more bang for your buck, you can convert the cash back earned on the Unlimited or Cash into Ultimate Rewards points if you have a Chase credit card that earns those points (such as the Chase Sapphire Reserve®, Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card or the Ink Business Preferred® Credit Card).

Finally, there’s the Ink Business Premier® Credit Card cash-back card, which does not allow cardholders to convert the rewards earned into Chase Ultimate Rewards points.

Keep in mind that these are business credit cards. You may be able to get a business credit card even if your side business is still on the smaller side. While you don’t need an established office with multiple employees to apply (meaning freelancers and sole proprietors are also eligible), you will need a business of some sort to apply for these cards.

Let’s run through an overview of each card to see which would be best for your small business.

Ink Business Unlimited Credit Card

Welcome bonus: Earn $900 bonus cash back after spending $6,000 in the first three months after account opening. Apply by Nov. 7.

This is the best offer in this card’s history, making now the perfect time to apply.

THE POINTS GUY

Earning rate: 1.5% cash back on all purchases.

Who should apply: The Ink Business Unlimited is a great option for small businesses and sole proprietors who don’t have spending concentrated in specific spending categories. No matter the category, you’ll get a flat 1.5% across purchases.

While it’s not the most lucrative flat-rate option for business owners, it does come in handy if you have Chase Ultimate Rewards points-earning credit cards to turn that 1.5% cash back into 1.5 points per dollar (a 3.1% return, based on TPG’s October 2024 valuations).

If you have one of those cards, this welcome bonus is worth up to $1,845 (in the form of 90,000 Chase points). Apply by Nov. 7.

Ink Business Preferred Credit Card

Welcome bonus: Earn 90,000 bonus points after spending $8,000 on purchases in the first three months after account opening.

This bonus is below the average we’ve seen on this card for the past few years. According to TPG’s October 2024 valuations, this welcome bonus is worth $1,845.

Annual fee: $95

THE POINTS GUY

Earning rates: Earn 3 points per dollar on the first $150,000 spent in combined purchases across these categories each year: shipping purchases, internet services, phone services, cable services, travel and advertising purchases with social media and search engines; and earn 1 point per dollar on all other purchases.

Who should apply: Small-business owners with significant spending in the bonus categories will be happy to earn up to 450,000 points per year on purchases that cover travel, shipping or telecommunications. This card also provides direct access to Chase’s hotel and airline transfer partners without needing another credit card to open the points transfer option.

Ink Business Cash Credit Card

Welcome bonus: A total of $750 cash back — earn $350 cash back after spending $3,000 on purchases in the first three months of opening an account, plus an additional $400 cash back after spending $6,000 in the first six months.

You’ll also earn a one-time 10% bonus of all eligible cash back earned in your first year of having the card if you open a new Ink Business Cash card by November 2024 and have a Chase Business Checking account on your first card anniversary (which would occur sometime between March and November 2025).

THE POINTS GUY

Earning rates: 5% cash back on the first $25,000 spent in combined purchases each account anniversary year at office supply stores and on internet, cable and phone services, 2% cash back on the first $25,000 you make in combined purchases at gas stations and restaurants each account anniversary year and 1% back on all other purchases.

Who should apply: The Ink Business Cash is great for anyone who spends a lot at office supply stores and on internet, cable and phone services. Office supply stores are a particularly beneficial bonus category because many gift cards are often available for purchase. This means you could earn 5% back on gift cards for merchants that don’t typically earn bonus rewards (Amazon, for example, if you don’t have a card that earns specifically on those purchases).

Annual fee: $195

THE POINTS GUY

Earning rates: Earn 2.5% cash back on purchases of $5,000 or more and 2% back on all other purchases.

Who should apply: This card is ideal for small-business owners looking for a card with a flexible spending limit. (This card has no fixed credit limit, but you must pay the bill in full each month and cannot carry a balance.) If you can meet these criteria, you’ll enjoy the unlimited earning potential on this card, plus the fact it provides enhanced cash-back rates on large purchases.

It’s worth noting, however, that the rewards from this card cannot be combined with other Chase points.

Are these bonuses worth it?

It’s worth getting one of these cards if you have a major purchase coming up that you want to use to earn one of these welcome bonuses or take advantage of their earning rates sooner rather than later.

While these cards won’t add to your Chase 5/24 total, you need to be under the limit for the 5/24 rule to apply for any cards with Chase. If you’ve opened five or more credit cards (from any bank) in the past 24 months, you will likely be declined when applying and exceptions to this rule are rarely made.

Business credit cards — or cards with significant welcome bonuses — tend to have higher spending requirements to achieve the bonus. If your business can meet these spending requirements, now is a great time to apply for these large bonuses available on Chase business cards.

Bottom line

If you can combine your rewards with an existing Ultimate Rewards account, these bonus offers are even more valuable. And while you do have to consider 5/24 when applying, it’s certainly worth looking at these current offers. Most small businesses should be able to hit the spending threshold to take advantage of any of the bonuses, and either one of the no-annual-fee Ink business credit cards could be a solid addition to anyone’s wallet.

However, if you’re looking for an even bigger bonus, consider the $900 bonus cash (90,000 points) offer on the Ink Business Unlimited. Apply by Nov. 7.
